5 Centimeters Per Second – Review

Rating: 10/10
Review:
This anime is definitely one of the best anime movies I’ve ever seen. First of all, the animation quality was top-notch and I really enjoyed listening to the character’s voices, which was an extremely good thing since there are a lot of talking in this movie. I loved how it was divided into three chapters and although the third chapter was confusing from start to end, I finally understood its meaning. The moment this started playing, I simply couldn’t take my eyes off the screen because I was completely drawn into how innocently depicted and how sweet the music in the background was. The way it started with a girl talking through a letter she wrote was just really awesome. Even though I’m not a fan of anime that just focus on romantic issues, I loved this movie and would always rate it as 10/10. Even though the story isn’t deep, it was simple, understandable and so realistic that it almost scared me. Particularly the part when Takaki Tono was boarding the train to visit Akari in the first chapter. To all those who’ve seen this already — how frustrating was it?! If I had been him I would’ve walked back and forth on the train or slammed the windows or kick the chairs.
Anyway, I really don’t want to spoil anyone by writing out the whole summary for the movie because it’s something you should watch and download and keep forever, not read.

This is one of my favorites too.
Who’s this by?
Makoto Shinkai, right?
I absolutely loved this story, including all it’s little sad parts.
But what I loved the most was his ability to draw light.
It is pure garbage that leaves you filling empty inside… what a waste of time.
