So next week it looks like Ranka is going to be the next Sheryl, we finally get to find out how the bloody fcuk Alto manages to conjure up paper, and more fanservice will ensue! No doubt Ranka and Alto were going to become distant due to her fame rising, but it shouldn’t be that horrible if Alto still gets to talk with Sheryl a lot. Ranka has made clear her intentions to Sheryl though Alto-hime remains oblivious as there was still a strong nii-san vibe to his relations with her. Looks like Brera Stern is the long lost nii-san that Ranka lost so long ago. What is important is that Ranka’s dreams will come true and the “winner” of Miss Macross gets thrown under a bus.

Looks like we must wait until the 19th to see what happens next, let us hope that they will be using that time to make things look prettier.

You meant Ranka instead of Sheryl, right? I wouldn’t worry about stardom separating the two apart. Sheryl did transfer to the piloting course, spends more time with Alto, but since the camera and the story is on Ranka’s side, it’ll be fine. You should believe crusader, the director is Kawamori in disguise. See? Kawamori loves both Alto and Ranka lol
