Initially I didn’t want to watch this but curiosity just got the better of me and I just wanted to try out posting on the site before the wave of new anime floods me this spring.

Summary:
While the theme may look like a rip off from last fall’s thriller series Kaiji its actually the exact opposite apart from the main theme.First off,the cast is spear headed by 3 bishounens.The name BUS GAME has nothing to do with busses.In fact,its short for Business Game.I believe the story was initially a manga series which was never finished hence the anime has only 3 episodes.The Business Game is basically a street fight between companies who choose their participants through anonyomous letters promising huge sums of money.The money is multiplied after each fight 10000 yen until 1billion yen for the 15th fight.So,here we are with this seemingly impossible line up of total opposities who now have to work as a team with no guarantees for their safety.The blonde kid is Saito Kazuo,the black haired guy is Nakajou Nobu and the other is Mishiba Toki.Of course the trio don’t really get along but its evident that its because of the fact that both Nakajou and Mishiba think that the other two guys on their team is a sissy and a useless brat respectively.They both seem to agree that Saito is useless and I second that motion.On the reason they’re doing this is because each of them needs one billion yen for reasons that they don’t want to share.Saito apparently needs the money for some noble cause judging by the picture of him with a nun(confirmed mama’s boy there) while Nakajou looks like he is the heir to a big hospital.Mishiba well,not much can be infered from just this one episode.The game is fought in timed rounds where weapons of any sort can be used but the three were stupid/smart enough to not do that just to add some drama for the viewers (=.=)”.The visiting team is the team which tries to steal a CD from the home team.The team with the CD at the end wins the round.The episode ends by Saito getting caught by the opposing team at knifepoint.
Thoughts:
Not much to see here.Everything was so-so from the OP to the ED song including the animation.But I think it was a smart move on the studio’s part to show this before the regular anime season(it aired 2 weeks ago iI think) since its not WOW material.As for the characters I think Saito is too loud and trying too hard to keep the story moving along interestingly.He went from lively to annoying in 10 minutes…great.I didn’t dislike the other two but I didn’t like them either since they’re too quiet.C’mon have some monologues or peverted thoughts for goodness sake (=.=) !! On whether I’ll blog episode 2, the answer is “Unlikely”.Also,I might have to go somewhere this weekend so I’m trying to weasel my way out of it so I can watch anime XD.
