Slayers Revolution 03

Summary:

At a tavern in town, Lina and Gourry are having an eating contest while Zel and Amelia watches. But the contest is interrupted by Investigator Weiser, who arrests Lina (again). The charges against her this time is for stealing the pets belonging to some wealthy women. Lina obviously protests, but the investigator stubbornly accuses her anyways.

Attempting to prove her innocence (and to claim the reward money for catching the culprit), Lina and friends head into town and ask around. However, most of the citizens are keeping their mouth shut, making Lina very suspicious. Later on, the party finds an island, and after making it past the giant jellyfish and the mob of lesser demons, Lina and the inspector end up inside a research lab. There she confronts and defeats a Chimera researcher (with the help of Gourry and a giant jellyfish of course).

It turns out the research is being backed by a wealthy prince, and that the inspector knew about this. But he used “attempting to capture Lina Inverse” as an excuse for accidentally stumbling onto the island and into the facility.

Thoughts:
Maybe it’s because I’ve slept a total of 12 hours the past 3 nights, but I found this episode slightly on the boring side. Xellos still refuses to make an appearance, and the comedy was fairly light this episode too (though some parts still managed to get a chuckle out of me).

Gourry makes a new friend

The bunny is just begging to be in blissmo’s comic

I wish i can click on the pictures. The reason why i’m saying this is because i go to a art class on Thursdays and before i go there, i save the pictures into a folder, but before i save it i take a look at the picture. If i see that the picture is small i won’t save it.

:o The pictures will become gritty and pixelated if you just resized it on the posts. (By the way, if you view the image that is resized at the post, you can view the original picture). That is why it must be resized on a photoshop. large pics also eats large bytes of the capacity of their site so that might be the reason why they refrain to put up so many large pictures. I don’t see any episodic blogs as well that puts up large pics per screencap because it will really really slow down the page loading.

 you can get the screencap yourself. It is much easier because you get to choose when to pause and save the screencap.

While other writers on the blog may do it for you, I am way too lazy to have the pictures linkable. If there is any particular screencap you really want, feel free to email me. But I’m 100% sure Slayers Revolution is being covered over at Random Curiosity, so check out their screeencaps first.

on a related note, the last screencap is clickable

I’ll be sure to e-mail blissmo. I think blissmo should only make the pictures clickable for Ultraviolet Code044, Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto: Natsu no Sora (Someday’s Dreamers), Seiyou Kottou Yougashiten (Antique Bakery), Hidamari Sketch X 365, Yakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo, Tetsuwan Birdy DECODE (Birdy the Mighty DECODE), Natsume Yuujin-Chou, MISSION-E, World Destruction ~Sekai Bokumetsu no Rokunin~, Koihime†Musou and Mugen no Juunin (Blade of the Immortal). It’s all up to blissmo. :D

These are the shows that Omni dosn’t have on his website.
