SOUL EATER – 10: Tsubaki is Bigger than Black Star!

Onii-chan!

Oh shikes, I’m too lazy to do the summary ‘cos it’s usually a joint post with JLeeson, but he’s busy having a decent holiday without me, so … I’ll just make the summary extremely short.
Summary:
Tsubaki’s next mission is to kill Fey Blade and she has deep connections with him but has difficulties trying to tell this to Black Star. When they arrive in the Needle Village, Black Star is thrown out because he’s the lone survivor of the Star Clan, which, in the past, were a band of assassins that murdered people and would do anything for money. They were later sentenced to death by Shibusen, but even so, Black Star doesn’t hold a grudge against them since he was very little at that time. Fey Blade takes over the body of a powerless young boy and breaks into a fight against Black Star and Tsubaki. Black Star manages to use his wavelength power to detach the host and weapon. Tsubaki grasps this opportunity to enter Fey Blade’s world and there she encounters her brother. The episode ends with the two preparing for battle.
Thoughts:
This episode was definitely awesome and I think I fell for Black Star’s awesomeness when he was telling Tsubaki that she didn’t have to tell him anything if she didn’t feel comfortable about it, and also because he doesn’t resent Shibusen or mind being hated by the village. I thought this was going to be another filleriffic episode, but was glad that the story focused mainly on Tsubaki, which means that in any time soon there’ll be a huge focus on Death the Kid’s Weapons (forgot their names *sweatdrop*). Of course the preview looks awesome and the action looks fantastic, but that’s what the preview always looks like. When I actually watch the episode itself, the action is only half-decent and lasts for about a couple of lame minutes. However, episode eleven definitely looks promising, especially because it’s sibling against sibling. I never found Black Star annoying, plus the old geezer is so disturbingly hilarious. Fey Blade is awesome. I love characters that don’t make sense.

YOOOOOOU SLACKER!
I wanna see a full summary up and running by tomorrow (even though I haven’t even had a chance to watch this episode yet lol)

Bwahaha. You didn’t even look up the names for two main characters!
Tsubaki and BS are fun to watch. A dark Tsubaki is fine too.
