To Love-ru – 12

Looking at moobs in a new light…=S

Here’s a easy to read picture summary of what happened. You won’t miss much plot wise though if you were wondering.

Ren’s still trying to convince us that he’s not gay

Weird drama scenes galore

Bloomers could be one of the 7 wonders of otakudom

I wanted to be a doctor because I was thinking of “helping” people like this.Reality is hard to swallow and I had to bid farewell to that dream years ago.

“Its just so vexing that bloomers are disappearing from the educational system”

This was the least obscene thing I could get without photobucket taking it down.Damn them!!

Rito makes his move to knock up Haruna.

Next episode,moar harem goodness?

Probably only half of the female cast we’re going to see by the end, including Rito.Doujins are going crazy.

Its the obligatory sports festival episode.
Strong points include:Random bullshit.

I mean that in a good way because that’s the single area that To Love-Ru excels at.Saruyama as the sports commentator? The school nurse as the co-commentator?Breast exercises courtesy of the principal?Finding freshly worn bloomers?Legendary swords? Now thats one messed up script.

Thoughts:

It had that sporadic spark of brilliance every once in a while but looking at it objectively. The episode was just too full of hot air for its own good.Yea I liked the fanservice. The jokes were alright. But at the end of the day nothing really worthwhile happened.Maybe I’m just having a hangover here but I vaguely remember that somewhere along the way,the manga would insert either, some romance,Rito getting closer to someone etc. There’s always this micro-plot development that takes place in the background.Obviously this is to ensure the story actually goes somewhere instead of becoming another never-ending harem merry-go-round.

I’ll just give the series some more time since this episode convinced me to hold out a little longer.

P.s Sorry for the crappy summary >.>, I was busy working on my scanlation project aka moonlighting =3

No wonder To Love Ru rocks. There’s everything anime needs.
Harem, Ecchi, clueless heroine, yuri, double gender dude, and on top of that seiyuus are cool.

To Love Ru is nice with all the girls and pantsy shots but the plot is rather lacking and the Jokes getting a bit dry but still a nice anime to watch if you are feeling down and need something to perk you up

Well, in reality, it does have somewhat visible plot line, its just that the anime didn’t bother about that(fanservice and money is more important).Although now, the manga is at a filler arc, while the authors figure out which girl is going to throw herself at Rito next.Considering Japan has suicidal rates comparable to the bunnies blissmo slaughters daily here, its not surprising To Love is still going after 2 years because of its “healing powers” lol

    @Omisyth

Wha…?I’d want a swipe at those bloomers hehe
