Toshokan Sensou – 07: New Love At Last
Shibasaki gets some light.
My brain was literally half-dead when I watched this so I only have a vague understanding of what happened. The beginning was rather decent and opened up by introducing a new character named Asahina, who apparently turns out to be a fraud working for Satoshi, Tezuka’s brother. Before realizing that, however, I thought that Asahina and Shibasaki would’ve made a decent couple except his persistent flattering was almost disturbing. Iku was cute when she was expressing how excited she was that Shibasaki was finally going out with someone and that she’d fully support her friend if she was serious about this relationship. Tezuka’s older brother is the leader of some organisation and it pretty much confused me because I kept wondering who the hell Hikaru was. Don’t blame me but my cold is getting worse and I was having some Doritos dipped in whipped cream while watching this episode at the same time, so I was pretty much concentrating on the chips and listening to Japanese. Anyhow, Satoshi reminds me of a cunning warlord and probably is, although it’d be interesting to see how he will end up persuading Tezuka into joining him, if it should ever happen. Now I know why Shibasaki is willing to stick around Iku and it was so adorable of her to run in and hug her. Definitely a change in personality I guess, but it was nice to see nevertheless.
I’m really glad other people are watching this besides me.
I’m still trying to decide which series beside blood+ to watch. Ah >.> I can’t mind up my mind…ah!
New villain appears! This episode was still very much watchable even with the marked lack of Doujou (which made it all the more better when he finally makes a mark at the end of the episode)
Quick, get over that cold of yours and start killing more bunnies!
