"this anime is definitely lacking the ability to excite the viewer, or at least, keep me interested enough so that I wouldn’t have to watch an episode of this ..."

but you got strung along me, usagijen and issa-sa's when we were shipping didn't you??? XDDD as for me, i really enjoyed the show because it satisfied what i love about the it.

well, we all enjoy shows for different reasons (plot, specific characters, animation style, fanservice, blahblah) and you were not satisfied probably because the show's appeal to you did not come out entirely satisfying.

I don't understand why alot of people are giving the "farfetched" premise so much hate. I'd write a post about this if i wasn't so damn busy.

My favourite (unintentional) funny moment was in ep 11 when Kasahara and Doujou went into the greenhouse to look at the Chamomile (the white flowers) .. and then.. there was a breeze!

Good: characters / graphical style / funny faces / reasonably original
Bad: plotline / predictability / story / it felt very forced/cliche at times

Maybe it's just me but the earlier episodes seemed a lot better than the second half or so.

A 7/10 seems fine to me, maybe it's a bit more like 6.5.

Most girls watching this show: Books, politics, war. Boring. OOH! RABU RABU RABU... books, politics, war *sigh*.
I'm all for good relationships in anime, but psgels was right, they tried to do too much too fast and failed to adequately represent the title of the show.

7/10 ??? RAGE!!!!!
But i can understand where you are coming from, your bloodlust was not satiated. GRIEF.

@Ez: The premise of Toshokan Sensou is not that far out there. In my country the Government frowns upon discussions on so called sensitive issues (race and religion), censors movies, books, and controls the mass media with an iron grip while denouncing the alternative media on the internet as lies. Still not believable?

I think Toshokan Senshou was rather decent. Although the premise was really far out there the characters felt really close to home. In fact I'd have to say that the characters felt as close to real people as animated characters can get. No other series has done this for me, so yeah, even though it's not that good, I can't hate it either.
