Shinichirou~~

Sadly, not much drama happens in this episode and we’ve been proven that Hiromi and Shinichirou aren’t siblings at all, and in fact Shinichirou’s mother was just lying the entire time. I thought the part when Jun and Hiromi fell off the motorbike and it lit in flames was pretty lame … I thought vehicles were supposed to explode when they’re on fire … Obviously I was wrong.

Summary: In the middle of the road, Jun steers his motorbike away from a rabbit which causes him and Hiromi to fall off unharmed, while the vehicle goes on fire. At home, Shinichirou’s mother worries about Shinichirou and decides to go look for him. In the meantime, Jun and Hiromi are talking where she comments how beautiful she thinks the motorbike on fire is. Suddenly, a police car pulls up and Shinichirou and Noe come out looking worried. Noe runs to her brother and hugs him while Shinichirou slowly walks up to Hiromi without a word. She tells him that she’s not hurt and then he unexpectedly drags her into an embrace. Hiromi starts crying and Noe is pained by the prospect of Shinichirou and Hiromi embracing. The police officer drives the group home and notices how uncomfortable Shinichirou, Noe and Hiromi look like sitting in the back seat together.

Once Shinichirou and Hiromi return home, Shinichirou’s mother takes Hiromi by the hand and pulls her into a room. Shinichirou is just about to follow them but gets stopped by his father, who slaps him across the face in order to calm his son. Inside, Shinichirou’s mother tells Hiromi to change clothes but she refuses. Just then, Shinichirou comes in and yells at his mum, but soon leaves when Hiromi begins to take off her clothes. In bed, Shinichirou can’t seem to think about what to write next about Raigomaru’s story. At school the following day, Hiromi isn’t allowed to participate in basketball for a while and her friend Tomoyo cheers her up a little. Two guys are about to tease Shinichirou but Nobuse sticks up for him and the boys leave. Tomoyo decides to stop playing basketball for a while and the captain allows her to so that she can be with Hiromi. Outside in the chicken coop, Noe desperately searches for the stones Shinichirou had used to spell out that he likes her. Shinichirou gets into a fight with a boy but the rumble stops when Noe appears. She doesn’t say anything and walks off. Shinichirou pursues her to the chicken coop but she doesn’t seem to happy.

With Shinichirou’s parents, Hiromi visits the principal concerning the fact that she ran away with Jun last night (I think, I’m not good with Jap so I’m still unsure about this). At the waterfront again, Shinichirou tells Noe that he doesn’t know what happens to Raigomaru next because the chicken is scared. Noe points out that Raigomaru is actually Shinichirou and puts a finger against his wound. He backs off because it hurts but she just looks at him impassively. He lets her do it again and this way the pain will soon disappear. Noe hands back Shinichirou the piece of paper and walks off before telling him that he can’t fly here (again, I’m not sure). Shinichirou goes home and sees Hiromi on the computer again, this time listening to music through an iPod. Surprisingly, she greets him and the two have a decent conversation. Hiromi remembers a while ago how Shinichirou’s mother came into her room and revealed the truth that Hiromi and Shinichirou aren’t siblings. Shinichirou’s mother starts acting nice to Hiromi and tells her to stay here a while longer. The episode ends with Noe in bed, looking deeply sad.

Thoughts: I thought this was a very depressing episode, especially because Noe wasn’t being adorably goofy. However, next week she looks like she’s really happy so I’m looking forward to that. Anyway, nothing really important happened except the truth about Hiromi and Shinichirou’s possible sibling-relationship and the defeated looking Noe when she realized that Shinichirou is in love with Hiromi. I’m supposing that was why she was looking for the stones he used to write that he liked her, and she needed evidence. The part when she left Shinichirou and said something about flying (I think) was really upsetting because the music was so nice and all. I actually wanted to cry (not really) but you get my drift, right? I’m not so sure about making predictions for the next episode though since I’m not dying to know what happens next. What interests me, however, is Jun grabbing Hiromi by the wrist in the preview. Maybe she dumps him or she tells him to be with Noe so she can be with Shinichirou or Jun warns her to back off Shinichirou since he’s with Noe. I dunnoes, but I really don’t want Jun to fall for Hiromi. I love anime siscon so yeah … and Aiko returns next week too.
