Intellects

A decent blog run by lostty, who, most of the time, blogs shows that blissmo seems to be quite unfamiliar with. Regardless, lostty is an excellent writer, superb at wording her thoughts. Apparently, the name Anime Princess was chosen by her sister since it sounded cute, and even though there is no real purpose behind this blog, it’s fun and always a great and pleasurable read indeed. lostty enjoys reviewing anime of any sort, and the length of posts are never the same — sometimes they’re too short, too long, or just about right. lostty just loves Death the Kid from SOUL EATER, and who can blame her? Honestly.

bateszi’s blog is probably one of those rare ones where you just instantly fall in love with the unique theme and quality of the posts. blissmo used to lurk here all the time, never able to comment since she was too shy to, but when she dropped bateszi an email to ask him to check out Yukan, apparently he also stalked us but never updated his blogroll until a month! Call this fate or whatever, or even a lie, perhaps, but bateszi knows how to make someone happy! Some of his posts are short, but they have a lot of meaning to them, and when they’re long, they’re still worth staying up late for, and drinking disgusting coffee!

Caitlin is another female blogger that makes blissmo and everyone else hungry every time they visit, especially when Caitlin shows off her beautiful ice-cream. She still follows Chi’s Sweet Home because it’s cute and is slowly being kidnapped to the Nabari no Ou fanclub side. Sadly, blissmo doesn’t watch any of the shows Caitlin is currently following but she still reads from her blog often because Caitlin has poisonous food she serves for her dear children. Caitlin is very mature and that’s why she’s an awesome role model for the younger ones. Caitlin likes hawt guys like blissmo, and that is not a lie at all. And blue ice-cream exists.

Owen S is the only man out there brave enough to straightforwardly admit to the public that he despises blissmo’s comics, but although he is known as a “jerk” by everyone some, his writing skills are superb. If you’re willing to spend hours debating with Owen, to prove him wrong or to help him prove others wrong, then this is definitely the place to be. You won’t get bored from his extremely long articles that has nice pictures provided, so fret not! You won’t waste your time by taking a little peak at this nicely designed place run by a man who’s scarier than my mum. This is a blog full of blogosphere dorama and having fun serious business.

Where do you go when you need some brain food? Here, of course! dingsan’s blog — one of the most funnest and entertaining blogs ever! dingsan is really good at cutting to the chase, never daring to let a second go to waste, hence his posts are always short, but at the same time, accurate and easy-to-understand. Correction: really easy-to-understand. dingsan follows anime just like everybody else on this blogroll, and like some of the other blogs blissmo mentioned, Ding the Dinger, Ding! is just so easy to get addicted to and obtain some enjoyment. Whether you’re bored, drunk or feeling just so and so, dingsan will never let you down!

This blog consists of two highly intelligent authors, TheBigN: an anime fan obsessed with ARIA and always willing to spread the ARIA love, and nomadotto, whom blissmo doesn’t really know about but is certain that he writes at this blog from time to time, and they also have a new member, dm00. TheBigN is ridiculously intelligent so it came as no surprise when we found out that he was, and currently is, taking a doctorite course. Of course, this blog is always a pleasant place to visit and you must commend them for such a long blogroll that is still going ’til this day. TheBigN also interacts with other bloggers and is really a nice guy to have a chat with.

The only blogger blissmo really knows of from this place is A Day Without Me. Seriously, the pair even shared a conversation once about some anime blissmo can’t seem to remember! A Day Without Me believes she’s a loli more than she is moe, but no one can complain. She has a great ability to write in such an easy-to-understand manner, and yet at the same time, sound as if she’s an advanced alien from another planet. A Day Without Me is always ready and prepared to ask the world several questions that involve lots of thinking, e.g. which character should she cosplay as? Apparently, A Day Without Me also has the ability to look like a 10-year-old.

Hige is extremely smart, and although he likes to use huge-ass words but words it in a way that helps you understand where he’s coming from without the help of a dictionary. Also a member of Dasaku long before Yukan came around, Hige is almost like another Martin, but with swearing lols. Hige’s posts are always fun to read and is the second person, besides Martin, who can make blissmo make lengthy (unworthy? think not!) comments. You will read absolutely everything this guy writes, including the tiniest of details, because his skills in writing is just superb and takes your breath away. His name is Hige, and he’s an Otaku.

Despite the fact that maya specializes in “slow blogging” you can never find yourself too disappointed when you read her articles. Brilliant at wording her thoughts together in a single and not-too-long post, you will never waste a second of your time reading her articles. She enjoys writing when adding her own touch of her personal life to it, which is rare these days since most people tend to feel too shy or embarrassed — not maya! In addition, her theme is stylish and magnificent. She seems to be a very nice person indeed, and her blog is one of my all-time favourites, which is such a big deal!

The most distinguishable aspect of mellow_bunny is that he’s probably the most laziest bunny in this horrendous world of cyberspace. Jokes aside, mellow is extremely easy to talk to and get along with, and he really enjoys all the CSS things, so if you need help with anything regarding designs, ask him! mellow also contributes a lot to the aniblogosphere by being sponsoring the ABA awards. This blog is also a team blog, so the length of each articles vary. mellow also writes in a simple manner, therefore you will never find yourself lost in his words! After all, mellow is a lazy bunny.

Ta-da! Introducing bakaneko of nekodan! bakaneko’s posts are also always an enjoyable read and he can delve further into anime like Macross Frontier better than any one else blissmo knows. Given the gift to write like a smart-allic from the Intellectual Department for Intellects, bakaneko never has once bored blissmo. He also hopes to witness the day when Alto-hime and Ranka will surely suicide together in the Blog of Bunny Suicides! so now the expectations are high and the pressure is on! Disappointing this poor stupid cat is the last thing anyone would want to do, and you must embrace all Macross Frontier fans because they are awesome.

Add two nerds together, and what do you get? Another IKnight and The Animanachronism? Possibly, but Super Fanicom adds up to Pontifus and his new minion, Kaiserpingvin. The two combined in this one blog will make your head explode. If you want to read everything, be sure to have a cup of tea or water beside you because their posts are quite lengthy, but nevertheless, an enjoyable read to soothe your anime hunger. Pontifus aims to get on Owen’s blogroll just as much as blissmo does as well, but does it really matter? Pontifus can be another Owen for all the blogosphere cares! Both he and Kaiserpingvin make a nice duet.

IKnight is just about the smartest fella you’ll ever meet and the lengths of his posts vary from time to time. He reviews both old and new anime so you can expect a lot from his blog. He sometimes comments under the alias ‘The Animanachronism’ which had blissmo mistaking IKnight and The Animanachronism for two different people. IKnight’s blog is always worth reading because he can write really efficiently and get your mind in the gear to think beyond and analyzie certain aspects of a film you may or may not have missed. The blog’s layout is simple and common, but the context is priceless and it’s always an enjoyable read. Visit IKnight today!

Scott, Scott, Scott, Scott … Some people may not like him since some incident about the fansubbing issues, to which only those of us with lives never paid much attention to since it was all just crap about crap. Jokes aside, Scott’s writing is superb, and also really, really long, so be sure to have a lot of spare time when reading his articles! He also used to have his comments off, but since Caitlin requested he turn them on, he’s been getting comments like crazy, especially over the fansubbing issue lols, but that was yonks ago and no one gives a shit any more. Scott is fantastic at presenting his thoughts through words and long paragraphs.

One really enjoyable thing about Martin’s blog is that despite the long posts, none of them ever seem to hard too understand or too boring to read. Although blissmo has only read posts that are based off his mutual feelings about it, or his undying love for it, there will surely be a day when there’s an anime that doesn’t please Martin. The layout may be somewhat familiar and “common”, if you want to call it that, but even so, it’s still unique and unforgettable. Hopefully, the end of the world won’t be coming any time soon, and the pimps from The Animanachronism are also trying to follow in Martin’s lead.

berkles is extremely smart and is also JLeeson’s friend, who attended some pretty important anime convention with him back in 2008, which means that the two know each other in person. berkles is excellent when it comes to predicting things and writing long, worth-reading posts regarding anime. He also happens to be a philospher (blissmo thinks, or so according to JLeeson), so he can relate both philosophy with anime in his posts. Hence, if you debate with him, he’ll eventually end up winning any way. berkles also seems to be regularly un-updated. Another thing berkles seems to enjoy is reading intelligent posts.
