Little of Everything
lanie-emon hasn’t been updating regularly like he used to since his computer or laptop stuffed up. He resides in Malaysia and of course, is an otaku like a majority of the anime bloggers. This blog is mostly full of random things, from his life to manga, to short anime reviews, but it’s simple and what’s so brilliant about simplicity is that it doesn’t make you think too hard. lanie-emon seems to be dead from the blogosphere recently, doing his own thing, hanging out with his friends and going to movies — it’s almost as if he’s finally found his place in life outside the web! Jokes aside, lanie-emon is a nice guy, and a nice otaku.
ARIA Anime was created during Akiraman’s spare time in late 2005, around the time wordpress.com was just getting started, in order to get his feet wet into blogging. At that time he was also playing around with Blogger, but found it too difficult use efficiently. ARIA Anime aims to bring the latest screens from anime in RAW format, unsubbed or subbed anime, whichever he can get his hands on first. While it is difficult to write summaries, he will keep it mostly short and simple along with his own impressions. His long goal is by using flickr to store as many screencaptures of anime as he can. Really easy to get on his blogroll.
Akways prepared to steal images, Pure Trance’s blog is full of reviews on figurines and sharing beautiful and hot anime wallpaper-ish images! In the past, Pure Trance was also going to write some figurine reviews at Yukan, but probably decided otherwise since she has contact blissmo since then. During blissmo’s depression when she was being accused as a Narutard after a “horrible” review on Golgo 13, Pure Trance was there for blissmo to lean. The two became best buddies, and although Pure Trance probably doesn’t follow any of the anime blissmo follows, only reliable for providing awesome images, the two are still good buddies.
Dancing Queen is a female otaku who loves to collect figurines that are mostly aimed towards the opposite gender. Owning over sixty figurines, Dancing Queen looks for the quality of the sculpt, pose, face and paint when purchasing a figurine, plus it also has to be one of her anime favourite characters! Admitting that she’s not much of a fantastic photographer, Dancing Queen is enrolled in a community college aiming to improve in both subjects of business and photography. Since her first attendance to Anime Expo in the year 2006, Dancing Queen has since then been on crack collected several figurines.
Hynavian digs vampire stuff but blissmo thinks vampire-anime are too typical sometimes. Hynavian also draws really incredibly cute sketches. She’s also a member of RIUVA but blissmo reckons Hynavian alone is enough to satisfy blissmo’s reading time. Hynavian hasn’t seen Baccano! yet, which is a true shame to anyone who hasn’t bothered with it yet because it’s one of the best series. Lucky Hynavian has moved from wordpress to her own host. This is definitely not fair but blissmo wishes her all the best nonetheless. She is about the only girl you’ll know who can withstand several pantsu shoots in less than a second!
Most interestingly enough, Ina started this blog when she was only fourteen, which hilariously is the same age when blissmo first started Yukan as well (shh, quiet)!. Ina started this blog in hopes to improve her writing skills because she, no doubt, enjoys English. Even funnier, blissmo also started a blog in order to get better at writing, and also because she just adores English. Ina enjoys receiving comments because to her it means she’s actually alive and not dead in this world, which is strange because we’re certain she’s breathing and she’s on the computer … how more alive do you honestly want to be, girl? Ina is kawaii lols.
Imagine a male version of Hynavian with a bigger love for manga than anyone else, and should ffviiknight deserve a trophy for the Best Manga Blog for every year of the Anime Blog Awards? Hell yeah! From Double Arts to whatever, ffviiknight is always prepared to deliver the latest chapters of only the greatest manga out there, today, yesterday and tomorrow! Keeping things simple and neat, ffviinknight is impressive at drawing you in and keeping you interested until the last word typed. Providing images as well, we’re pretty sure that if you’re a manga lover like ffviiknight, then there’s bound to be a manga here that he hasn’t reviewed!
According to Nagato, IcyStorm of Minimum Tempo is a football (inside joke, folks). Always looking for new writers, IcyStorm’s blog is one of those ones that have both unique content and original layout. He’s probably also another mellow_bunny or TokiDoki of some sort since he seems to enjoy graphic things. Also, IcyStorm’s voice is really manly and deep (listen to his blogcast, which he played a guest host for CalAggie over at Nigorimasen! Blog), and he can’t say much in real life either lols. IcyStorm is really nice, and in the past blissmo was addicted to his anime metroviews. Not sure where they are now.
Another fellow Melbournian blogger from Melbourne, Aya Kyunik enjoys reviewing moé figurines and taking photos after getting inspired from RIUVA’s nice pictures. With another unique and beautiful layout to add to the moé-ness and a rotating banner of adorable characters from both old and new anime, Aya Kyunik’s posts are sometimes … always(?) really short and simple, and he/she seems to really have fun in sharing with a character’s birthday. The blog was set up in May 2007, aiming to only bring themoéness in everyone and everything, sharing the moé love and only sharing the moé love. Let your moé heart be touched!
When you don’t feel like watching anime for a while, CalAggie is here to deliver all the news! Not once has he blogged a particular episode or review any movies (or so blissmo thinks), so this is definitely the place to be if you just want to be updated with all the latest gossip in the Anime World. CalAggie is also an awesome guy himself, who started a Podcast a while back but is also willing to join the Podcast at Yukan if he can too. CalAggie is brilliant at wording his thoughts and his blog is really pretty. He also had an old blog some time back, and this is now his new one! CalAggie is a man searching to fill in his spare time.
Ah, good buddy ron~ to the rescue of this never-ending blogroll! ron~ also resides in the same place as blissmo, but they’ve never met in person before (thankfully lols). ron~ was actually lucky enough to go to Supanova in the year 2008, which blissmo had to miss out on because by the time she discovered its existence, it was already too late. Hence, blissmo’s jealousy towards ron~ for attending Supanova was what brought these two fellow Australian bloggers together. ron~ also loves the bunny suicides just as much as everyone else, and unforunately, most of his comments get marked as spam for no particular reason.
Seiryuu owns this blog, which started after getting inspired by the many and thousand anime bloggers that roam the internet as if it was their life. Seiryuu blogs about anything relating to anime and provides humour whenever given the opporunity. Seiryuu also introduced the Stupid Sakura project, which is basically a remake of the Naruto’s OPs, but the videos are quite hilarious. Seiryuu doesn’t enjoy unfriendly comments, so you need to be careful of that if you don’t want your head chopped off. Aya Hirano isSeiryuu’s idol, therefore Seiryuu blogs mostly about Aya Hirano. Big fans of her? Then this is the place to be.
jitensha’s blog is one of simplicity and uniqueness, aiming to become better in English and grammar. jitensha means ‘bicycle’ in Japanese, so when blissmo first saw jitensha’s blog, she giggled a bit. jitensha is a Fillipino and started this blog at the age of 15, which is a surprise because you could confuse her as an intelligent professor! jitensha got the name Temporal Vortex from Chrono Crusade, which blissmo had a hard time appreciating. jitensha also started loving anime really early and had been so drawn into it that continued to spead the love for it via blogging. Although not an otaku, jitensha can understand them.
blissmo nicknamed this blog owner, moe baa-chan usagijen, because usagijen is both moe and old at the same time. Epic, right? Anyway, taste her fangirl power for all the couples in anime, and all the anime she loves that blissmo dislikes. jen is an extremely sensitive girl who, when swears, can be quite scary, especially when she blogs about a show that’s filled with lots of action and blood like Wanted. It’s as if usagijen is no longer usagijen and some homeless spirit or devil has possessed her entirely and forced her to type like a true killing maniac, as blissmo hopes to be but never will be. blissmo learned to love bunnies differently.
In the past, Riex’s blog was known as typeZERO, but after the shift from typeZERO to Riex, he was given the title Tyrannosaurus Riex by Baka-Raptor. Of course, now we have two dinosaurs: a crazy Baka-Raptor and a sarcastic Riex, who is, really, all just about sarcasm and the beauty of skepticism. Riex leads a double life, also working with Impz and his cronies over at THAT Animeblog, where Riex hopes to get about 15-20 comments per post. Riex writes about anything that perks his interests, which also means pinpointing blissmo as the villain of all comments. Riex always keeps his text very simple.
hazy is an undercover cop working with the FBI to record any vital data among the otaku in the aniblogosphere that could bring the entire world to an end. This blog is action-packed with articles written in such an easy-to-read and efficient manner that you’ll never have to find yourself wandering some place elsewhere, for Undercover is the only blog you’ll need to get a good taste of everything. hazy loves reading the manga for xxxHolic and has never seen Tsubasa Chronicles or Cardcaptor Sakura, which is a shame since they both suck anyway. hazy is definitely a fun person to have a chat with since the conversation can go on forever.
Yitza is a fellow blogger from Sydney who seems to adore Fuuki from CLANNAD like blissmo. He will blog about anything that is worth interesting, including full butt-shots of the chicks from Strike Witches to his journey on World Youth Day. blissmo found Yitza when his blog was only three or four months’ old, so it will be nice to see where it goes from there. Hopefully, Yitza will continuing blogging and be able to interact with many other anime bloggers. Yitza enjoys keeping his articles nice, short and very simple, so if you’ll never be too weary or too lazy to read an entire post! He also blogs random news.
misakiichi is a twenty-three year old virgin otaku, who’s trying to earn a living for figurines, anime, and of course, food. His sketches are just purely superb and ownage, and he’s also a nice fella. misakiichi’s posts are enjoyable to read, since he provides lots of images and little words. He also seems to really love Hidanamari Sketch! since his posts mostly contain them and his banner as well. misakiichi is not scary to approach, and he’s extremely modest since he doesn’t believe that his work, or art sketches if you want to call them that, are professional. But they are. He’s just too modest to admit it.
