The Anti-All Girls Round Robin gets covered, but the Secret Men’s Business one doesn’t get nearly as much coverage. We can determine three things from this:
1: Making fun of sexist men makes better comedy.
2: It’s harder to make good comedy out of men who try to do something useful about their identity as men, because it can be all too easy to make us look like sissies who cower when a woman doesn’t like them (which sensitive new age guys can do).
3: The warm fuzziness of New Masculinity isn’t enough of a contrast with the deceptively cute suicide bunnies who present the news, whereas panicky enraged chauvinists make for better LOLs, and can be drawn easier without making them look like yaoi stereotypes.
