D.Gray-man – Chapter 154
The battle with the Level 4 Akuma continues! 154th night: Battlefield in Flux
Summary:
Allen is getting his power sucked out by the Lvl4 Akuma when *tut, tut, tada!* Lenalee comes in! She has her Innocence again once more: she received them by drinking the black liquid which was her Innocence. She knees the Akuma in the chest and takes Allen up into the air. Allen apologizes for not being able to ’save anyone’ and Lenalee apologizes for being late. The Lvl4 Akuma comes up behind them and charges ahead. Malcom C. Rouvelier (the guy who looks like Hitler) is observing her and is impressed at how she is able to fight on par with the Lvl 4 Akuma. Allen knocks down the Akuma down with his Sword of Exorcism and stabs him, holding him into the ground. It tries to break free using a spell called ‘Carte Garde’ but Lenalee comes down and stomps on the hilt of Allen’s Sword, killing the Lvl4 Akuma effectively. Then BANG! Marian Cross comes in, declaring the evacuation off as well as preparing to get a sample of the Lvl4 Akuma.
Thoughts:
Action-filled chapter, with hints of Allen and Lenalee here and there. I didn’t really get what the hell was happening at the start since I haven’t been updated with the manga lately since my internet has been pathetically slow and I couldn’t download anything for weeks. But here I am, with my first post! Lenalee has retrieved her Innocence again this time, in a different form. And by drinking it as well. O.o” A bit weird but COOL! And the situation with Lavi’s Innocence hasn’t been confirmed yet once again. A nice chapter and a confusing start for someone who has skipped 10 chapters of the manga.
