A Rebuttal to Blissmo’s Doodles

It’s an aerial assault of nonsense and sketches!

I’m not used to using the Wacom tablet even though I got it ages ago for my Visual Arts project I did for my HSC. Even so my school had a system where they would subsidize your art materials to the tune of 100 bucks, so my parents got let me have the Wacom for cheaper, which eased their minds a little bit. Blissmo apparently wants a Wacom but I’m posting this to show you what crappy sketches you can do with one…

The only good thing about this sketch is how Baka-Raptor and the purple looking guy turned out, because I wasn’t used to the settings, the black and white sketches turned out rubbish. I fail at moe, my 1337 art skills have been tested to their limits by the Wacom in Photoshop, because my PC down in my room doesn’t have Adobe Illustrator installed.

Hat Man is something between a hat and a man, the two are inseparable. He has a nose for headwear…

Malkalith Frosthammer, the wussiest Barbarian who ever lived, but one of the most powerful Changelings ever to earn a place in Farthenduran history. He’s a character from my book Hero With A Thousand Lifetimes, which I intend to illustrate as a graphic novel. But judging from how this sketch turned out on the Wacom, maybe I should practice more…

And there you have it. You might see a few of my other sketches when I start doing the concepts for the Toon-Folk people in HWATL (Hero With A Thousand Lifetimes) who are essentially Anime characters brought to life by Animancers. And yes, they worship a God of Manga. Can anyone guess what his name could possibly be?

If I didn’t know better, I could be thinking this website is the church of Baka-Raptor.

God of manga = Osamu Tezuka?

@Ez: In the book the Farthenduran God of Manga is Tezuka Atom, but he acknowledges that Osamu Tezuka existed as a parallel universe version of himself. My fantasy book plots are crazy. :D

Just wait until I get a Wacom and draw a picture of you…

When speaking of Baka-Raptor, you must follow it with “hallowed be thy name.”

O Baka-Raptor, hallowed be thy name, thy fanboys come, thy will be done, in the (prehistoric) world as it is in heaven.

I shall now summon Stan Lee and beat you to death with HIM.

Or Alan Moore. But that means I have to pay a lot of money.
