i’ve only read the first in the trilogy so no spoilers please.

i’m confused about how mr.wayland was jace’s fake father. valentine said he fled with jace under mr.wayland’s identity and that mr.wayland died in the uprising, but then who did jace witness being murdered by pangborn and blackwell?

can somebody help me understand this by telling my this part of the story?

this is nothing like twilight!!! these books are amazing! almost better than harry potter! twilight is crap. its written like crap and everything in it is crap!!!!!! read the mortal instruments trilogy!!

Not kidding here people. but. this book is INCREDIBLE

I LOVE IT WAY TOO MUCH. I liked twilight alot, but this blew it out of the water, you have to read it, it really is nothing like Twilight…
Im absolutely gutted it dont exist. In fact horrofied, that it isnt real. I dont think i could deal with my love for Jace if he existed though, he is amazing haha!

and i actually find myself laughing out loud at times as its so funny at parts. Im only comparing to Twilight here because everyone else has on this page. But its nothing like it, Twilight wasnt the first forbidden love story ever to be written, its really very famous atm. BUT THIS BOOK IS AMAZING, my favourite books ever in the universe

i cant describe how good this book is… i am a huge twilight fan but this book is so much better, some people are very critical about it . but trust me its amazzing!!

Agree!! City of Bones is a great book. The Mortal Instruments rock and honestly I like it better than twilight as the characters just seem more real with the descriptions and the things you learn about them as you read. More human even if they are not. I find it so much more funny and in touch with the real current world than any other book I’ve read and yet it maintains that trait of fantasy that captures you so easily. Sorry twilight fans, but I prefer City of Bones anyday.

Anyways, Yes. I really hate sequels but I really liked the HP books even though it has like 7 installments.

Anyway, I don’t really like sequels either, but that never stopped me loving Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, or this book for that matter. Can’t wait ’til you read it though!
